Planetary Differentiation
Our work examines how planets separate into cores, mantles, and crusts through melting, crystallization, and chemical segregation, shaping their long-term evolution. We combine astromaterials constraints from meteorites and planetary samples with laboratory simulations and theoretical models to quantify the compositions and physical properties of deep interior reservoirs and to reconstruct the differentiation histories of rocky worlds.
