Planet Formation

We study how planets form through observations of protoplanetary disks, investigations of star–disk interaction processes in young stellar systems, laboratory studies of meteorites and returned samples, and theoretical and numerical modeling of planetary formation and dynamical evolution. Our work aims to understand the origins of the Solar System and the diversity of exoplanetary systems.
